“Unauthorized” HHA tenant group message pumps out the lies

A flyer appearing apparently without the required HHA administration’s approval has appeared stating there’s an emergency meeting scheduled for 6:30 at 221 Jackson St.

The flyer also claims, “THEY REMOVED OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WE KNOW WE’RE NEXT!

Barbara Reyes, a staunch backer of Carmelo Garcia and thrice rejected HHA board candidate may be the person who is hosting the tenant meeting. Confirmation will follow this story.

A report from a reliable source says there is rumor mongering going on telling residents they will all be evicted. Read More...

THE FRACAS

It’s a live federal government meeting. Or is it?

From this video, it’s visible there’s several recordings going on in the same location of media in the front of the room on the left. The meeting had disintegrated completely as the mob was allowed to hijack and take over the room.

A fracas breaks out on the left as a video being taken on a phone leads to a less than neighborly response. MSV captures the tail end as the crowd surges and becomes focused on that. Then Sigsby Cheatham decides it’s time to move on and target MSV. He’s the older man on the microphone urging further action be taken and it’s not of the legal, democratic variety. Read More...

Report: Carmelo Garcia terminated in 5-2 board vote

MSV could not get back in as a public safety official, M. Costello decided no credentials (after a stolen wallet earlier) meant “leave the building.” His order was heeded but he was told all the stuff was stolen by the mob earlier.

After a fracas in the earlier part of the meeting, a Carmelo backer, Sigsby Cheatham who has voiced Old Guard support and some apparent weird anti-Semitic rantings repeatedly urged the mob to follow up and pursue a new victim, MSV.

Later the meeting would reconvene. A vote was held on Carmelo Garcia’s contract. The first to vote was HHA commissioner Judy Burrell. Earlier she was determined not to be intimidated by the mob hijinx and refused to leave the room immediately when urged by Acting Police Chief Eddie Garcia. Read More...

Celebrating five years of service, MSV revisits its mission statement

Five years ago today, Da Horsey penned its first feature in the wake of Operation Bid Rig and the downfall of a once rising star, Hoboken ex-mayor Peter Cammarano.

Some will find irony in today being the day a special meeting of the Hoboken Housing Authority  with termination of a contract for one Carmelo Garcia listed on the agenda. Others will turn away and pretend they see nothing at all.

Let’s not fuss about who took money from who and who has no ethics with malfeasance and arrogance pouring out of every pore. Read More...

Beth Mason effort to save Carmelo Garcia approaches the hysterical

Old Guard adherents led by a Beth Mason bottom feeding fish are showing frustration as Carmelo Garcia’s Hoboken Housing Authority contract faces the prospect of termination at a special meeting in City Hall Monday night.

Angry comments appearing on the Hudson Reporter and The Hudson County View by the same pop up screen name emerged as similarly before the Reform sweep last November on Hoboken Patch. (Confirmation of the bottom feeding fish’s sex change however is unknown at this time.)

With no supporting fact whatsoever, the Mason political operative deems any contract termination “illegal.” The hysteria has more to do with a prominent uptown based developer with a long history of political influence in Hoboken, the HHA and its buildings in the second ward. Read More...

Finally, Bet is a winnuh!!

No movie short created more laughter in the Mile Square than the cartoon “Downfall of a wannabe shark.” Penned back in 2010, the satirical cartoon character has become a cult classic seen tens of thousands of times.

Bet Mazin, checkbook hero of political operatives everywhere, works mightily to stop reform writers and residents who dare to speak out against corruption and trifle with the the political ambitions of Hobroken’s Queen of Ethics and Transparency.

Bet was a true to life target, charged in Hudson County Superior Court in a $2 million civil civil action by her alter ego’s embittered “friends” not paid for friendship. Our heroic cartoon character triumphed on the initial winning list of defendants in the SLAPP courtesy of Beth Mason and her family checkbook. Also on the initial winner’s list: Klaussenfluffer.
