New transcript reveals Carmelo Garcia and Charles Daglian shady complicity in HHA voting

=&0=&

Another day, another disaster for Carmelo Garcia as his dirty secret taping of a lunch with former State Senator Bernard Kenny and the mayor’s husband, Stan Grossbard exposes the underbelly how he conducts HHA business.

This time it’s a discussion surrounding the attempt to appoint a Carmelo Garcia choice for auditor.  Charles Daglian is part of the discussion in what Garcia calls an “unexpected” 3-3 vote.

As anyone knows on a government board or not, a 3-3 vote does not constitute a majority and so the item in question doesn’t pass.  But as Carmelo Garcia wanted to pass his choice for auditor, HHA counsel Charles Daglian claims he doesn’t know what the 3-3 vote means and that he will need to research it further. Ramos Campaign on parks: ‘Don’t believe your eyes Hoboken, it’s all talk’

Labor Day is off in the distance but the political campaign season is underway and ubermensch Mason mercenary Perry Klaussen has the green light to go after Mayor Zimmer’s administration.  After months of failing to acknowledge Ruben Ramos was a mayoral candidate, the Masonista sponsored cybersewer is giving propaganda time to the campaign. It’s not clear if others will see the full iron fisted fascist censorship Das Klaussen is famous for or a less scrubbed version where an occasional comment of truth is allowed to stand.  One thing for sure, Hoboken411 is a shadow of where it was in 2009 and most people in Hoboken know he’s been bought and sold more times over than a cheap hooker. Here’s the latest release from mayoral candidate Ruben Ramos and for the moment anyway, council candidate Laura Miani (more on that later).  Rumors Miani sleeps with the fishes are only that, rumors.   Last night, a very odd Pupie appearance on Washington Street.  Frank Raia was having dinner with Hoboken Democratic Chairman Jamie Cryan =&0=&.  Or is it the new and improved Frank Raia council slated campaign?  (More on that soon too.)
Dangerous park? According to Masonista propagandist Perry Klaussen of Hoboken411 and the Ramos campaign,
this is unsafe.  Here kids are playing a game as they brave potential assault – from a rainbow.
Here’s the Ramos and Miani political park chatter of the day: Reflections on Dawn Zimmer’s long promised “The Year of the Parks.” With summer coming to an end and soccer season set to begin, let’s review the status of the Mayor’s promises on Parks. In her State of the City address in 2011 Mayor Zimmer said 1600 Park would be the next big park to come online. This park, which has been in the works for years, was stalled for another 4 years due to the inability of the administration to complete the project. Now we have a field, but due to nearby ongoing construction, Park Avenue is still not safe for pedestrians. Furthermore, since this field will also be contracted out to adult leagues, it will be really hard for older kids to use this field just for play. It is so sad that with all this talk about “The Year of Parks” it is so hard for kids to find a place to just throw a Frisbee or play a game of a catch.
  • Sinatra Park still has cranes on the field and it looks like that won’t be ready for play until the end of September.
  • Elysian Park hasn’t had any upgrades. We have the money, but the work hasn’t been done.
  • Legion Park hasn’t had any upgrades – we’re still having community meetings on that.
The City has been unsuccessful in acquiring any NEW park land in the Southwest despite promises of this in 2011 and 2012. Now the mayor is saying she won the “right” to purchase Block 12. A panel of judges will determine what that land is valued at,

and we could end up paying millions more than the $2.3 million Zimmer offered. Read More...

FinBoy’s death on NYC subway a hoax!

=&0=&

In what one political observer is calling a desperate bid to revive a failed political consulting career, new evidence has emerged reports of FinBoy’s untimely death on a NYC subway are in fact part of an elaborate hoax.

One NYC subway rider alleges they witnessed from an adjacent car an apparent staged set up (not of the Carmelo Garcia secret taping kind) where FinBoy rolled over on his back, belly up posing for cameras. Later a press release to the HudCo Reporter, a reliable source which conspires with advertiser Bet Mazin announced the death per her instruction.  The HudCo Reporter has never revealed the extensive relationships with Bet Mazin political operatives and its role in political conspiracies using the HudCo courts. Grist for the Mill: Brian Stack on Carmelo Garcia’s secret tapings “I don’t know what anyone does”

=&0=&

Some may be surprised to know Hoboken’s population now exceeds 52,000.  Others may be equally surprised its State Senator and neighbor in the form of Union City Mayor Brian Stack made an unannounced visit into Hoboken yesterday afternoon.

The destination was the location of recent controversies and the person in its center – Stack’s Assembly running mate Carmelo Garcia in the Hoboken Housing Authority.

Along with most of Hoboken’s residents, no City officials appeared or apparently knew about the unofficial run down the Union City hill in the back of town. Read More...

Grist for the Mill: Pupie Wave as Jamie Cryan takes out petitions for new slate

=&0=&

The suspected Frank “Pupie” Raia third slate may be materializing based on multiple sources confirming Hoboken Democratic Chair Jamie Cryan withdrew candidate petitions.

The lineup with the objective of “slipping one past the goalie” on the City Council to wrest the upended council majority is thought to be Jamie Cryan with Frank “Pupie” Raia and a yet to be determined woman candidate for the three at-large council seats.

One name floated recently was Kim Glatt, a former Hoboken judge and 2009 mayoral candidate but one source questioned whether she would be willing to join the council slate meaning a final at-large council seat is still unclear. Read More...

Carmelo Garcia secret tape revelation: Ruben Ramos chucked under the bus

=&0=&

Faced with a torturous drip, drip, drip being unmasked as secretly taping local politicos and officials over weeks, Carmelo Garcia the front man for the controversial Vision 20/20 redevelopment plan could do nothing as local media closed in on incontrovertible evidence of his transgression.

Then Attorney Louis Zayas added to his clientele of lawsuits against the City of Hoboken with another civil suit announcing Carmelo Garcia to the active list.

A hunt for a transcript, possibly doctored with a “matching” audio tape became the center of a media chase when Garcia’s attorney mistakenly exposed it in an unrelated lawsuit with another client, Angel Alicea, the former Hoboken Public Safety Director suing the city over his termination.
