In respect to both the woman’s untimely passing and her family, details have been removed from the photo.

The Machine and Hoboken411

Augie Torres at the Jersey Journal has his typical integrated piece on the county scene and today MSV decided to write a reply to his mish mash of thoughts on Grafix Avenger.  While it appears to Da Horsey he’s trying to make a better effort in his insider column, he makes some mistakes, the most grievous and glaring being his failure to link to the controversial graphic and story on GA’s site.

Instead, just like that Jewish Democrat PAC site, he links to Hoboken411.  That’s pretty much like handing the keys of your house to the crook who has been casing it for a week. Read More...

BREAKING: 4th ward election criminal referrals now going to the Attorney General!

The Hudson Reporter just broke the latest bomb in the Tim Occhipinti election fraud scandal – the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is now turning over the multitude of problems to the State Attorney General’s Office!

Today, the Hudson Reporter reported the criminal referrals transfer from the County Board of Elections to the County Prosecutor will be moving on to the State saying:

“We have the materials from the Superintendent of Elections which has been reviewed,” said Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio. “We intend to forward the matter to the Attorney General’s office for further review. And then where it goes from there, I cannot say at this point.”

Asked for comment Tim Occhipinti provided an emailed statement with a vague comment only saying, “I have every confidence in the process and I’m concentrating on doing what I was elected to do, serve the people of the 4th ward.” Read More...

4th ward special election – further investigation is proper step

The following is a letter submitted by Stan Grossbard who attended yesterday’s investigation meeting at the Hudson County Board of Elections.

Yesterday, the Hudson County Board of Elections referred all of the evidence
of fraud provided to it by the Mike Lenz for Council campaign, together with
additional evidence developed through the independent investigation of the
Hudson County Superintendent of Elections, to the Hudson County Prosecutor.
The Hudson County Prosecutor will be responsible to review the evidence,
conduct any further investigations they deem needed and determine whether
criminal prosecutions are appropriate. The Board of Elections advised that
all Vote by Mail ballots have been impounded pending a determination by the
Prosecutor as to whether they are needed as evidence.

As one of the Vote by Mail challengers for the Lenz for Council campaign, I
am gratified that this matter is being handled with the seriousness that it
deserves.  This is not political. The race is over, and Tim Occhipinti is
our 4th ward City Councilman.  As a 4th Ward resident it is my sincere hope
that he will represent my neighborhood well.  But the decision of the Board
of Elections to take the highly unprecedented step of making this broad
criminal referral makes clear that there is real evidence that fraud may
have occurred.  The integrity of our democratic system requires that these
matters be seriously addressed regardless of whether they effected the
outcome of the election, and I am gratified that the proper steps have so
far been taken.

Grafix Avenger speaks to the Jersey Journal, apologizes to any offended by satire

Grafix Avenger spoke to a member of the New Jersey Anti-Defamation League yesterday and after some heart to heart discussion issued an apology for any offense her satirical take on a 1934 movie poster may have had with people.

Katie Colaneri from the Jersey Journal got the scoop on everyone saying in part:

Following a conversation with Etzion Neuer, regional director for the New Jersey Anti-Defamation League, Pincus said later that she realized how her graphic may have caused offense and agreed to issue a letter of apology at Neuer’s request.

“I welcomed and accepted Ms. Pincus’ apology and from our conversation, it appears she understands why the incident was hurtful,” said Neuer.

Neuer said he first heard about the graphic through Mason who pointed out it out to him last week before Bajardi’s presentation before the council.

“I am genuinely sorry,” Pincus said this afternoon. “I did not mean to hurt anyone who’s genuine.” Read More...

Hoboken Resident Scott Siegel at the Elections Board

This short segment was not captured properly in the 35 minute portion earlier.  As it has been recovered and for the sake of a complete record, it’s now added.

Scott Siegel was the first person to address the Board of Elections.  The dialogue here is important as it’s the first summation on the entirety of the matter being moved forward as a criminal matter under investigation.  The other person you hear on the audio is Hudson County Board of Elections Clerk Michael Harper. 4th ward election fraud allegations: the whole kit and kaboodle moves on to the Prosecutor!

Here’s a short synopsis of today’s hearing on the 4th ward election investigation: the Board of Elections did not eliminate one problem, not one iota of issues brought to bear in the 4th ward special election.  Instead the Superintendent wrote a report on the Board’s investigation but declined to comment on the specific criminal matters sent on to the prosecutor’s office.

The whole package of problems including the totality of complaints from the Lenz for Council campaign moves on as well. Read More...

Beth Mason supporter, Mike Novak attack Grafix Avenger

Following Councilman Mike Russo’s declaration of war calling Nancy Pincus, a Jewish local resident anti Semitic and “using anti Semitic imagery,” for a graphic with only a vague similarity to a 1934 pro-Nazi movie poster, the battle to clear an additional zoning board position depicting Councilwoman Beth Mason as a victim of “hate” as Russo says is escalating, moving ahead on multiple fronts.

A known Beth Mason supporter and financial backer, Larry Stempler sits on the board of a national Jewish organization, that is also attacking Nancy Pincus, a sitting Zoning Board member who lost family in the Holocaust – this posted just earlier on her website Grafix Avenger. Although Beth Mason still has avoided comment publicly, a blitzkrieg like assault is underway on her behalf, with the initially staged presentation by her ubermensch “friend,” Lane Bajardi. At the City Council meeting Monday, Bajardi unleashed a prepared speech with a screed of denunciations accusing Nancy Pincus of calling Beth Mason “a Nazi,” and was almost screaming about Pincus’ “fascism” in a tirade that surpassed his earlier attacks. At an earlier April Board of Education meeting where the school attorney interjected during Bajardi’s comments, stating the police could throw him out for his out of order behavior, he insisted on attacking Pincus for another graphic he railed incessantly against to any reporter who would listen during the Board of Education race. =&0=&
Plenty of shilling but not one Nazi insignia anywhere
No Nazi insignia of any kind appears in the graphic Bajardi and Councilman Russo have declared intolerable for her to remain in her current seat on the Hoboken Zoning Board. The only similarity in the graphic is gothic style lettering. The attacks are being waged many local political observers suggest to obtain a decisive Zoning Board tilt in favor of a big pro-development camp. Mike Novak, a Hoboken resident who ran with ex-mayor Peter Cammarano for a City Council seat and supporter and fund raiser for Councilman Tim Occhipinti has also entered the fray attacking Nancy Pincus as a mayoral appointment and in two twitter posts: Mike Novak was corrected for his misstatement Zoning Board appointees are made by the mayor. Dan Bryan, the mayor’s confidential aide replied in a twitter to Novak, “When you finish drinking, look up the law. Council appoints zoning board not mayor.” The City Council does make all appointments in a vote since in one of her first actions, Acting Mayor Dawn Zimmer surrendered the appointment powers to the City Council fulfilling a campaign pledge out of the gate. Mike Novak is a former zoning board member known for giving out numerous variances developers typically seek in their proposals. One current member of the Hoboken Zoning Board who requested anonymity described his actions doing so as similar to “handing out candy.” Novak is believed to be again seeking a zoning board slot and and possibly considering another run for the City Council in the First Ward seat currently occupied by Terry Castellano. =&1=& Councilwoman Beth Mason was contacted for this story. She has typically not responded to email requests but if she does, this story will be updated. =&2=& Although the evidence of the Zoning Board actually doesn’t support that dubious claim, it’s clear the party line is established and the fight to bring back the old guard big pro-developer candidates to the Hoboken Zoning Board should be expected.

Lane Bajardi who turned his back on reform led by the mayor’s coalition is currently allied with the Russo clan and not only following that party line, he’s advancing it even before a single person has been officially put into nomination for the upcoming open Zoning Board positions. Read More...
