How many times did Michael Russo meet with Solomon Dwek?

A year ago when MSV broke the story in Hoboken about Councilman Michael Russo’s meeting with Solomon Dwek, it was thought the story revolved around a single meeting.

In a series of usual online exchanges on Hoboken Patch, the former reform advocate now Old Guard party line apologist Lane Bajardi to others makes some fanciful claims about fear and trepidation by Michael Russo.

In what is typical of the “what lie will he say next,” from Hoboken’s relentless pathological liar not paid for Beth Mason’s friendship, a typical exchange led to the revelation unnoticed in the transcript. Read More...

Landmark Pay-to-play reform passes in Hoboken Housing Authority

Last night’s Hoboken Housing Authority meeting saw several important resolutions passed among them landmark pay to play anti-wheeling legislation based on Hoboken’s municipal law passed in the City Council last summer. The resolution passed in a 5-2 vote.

A new online wait list system for applicants to see where they are in the system was passed unanimously along with returfing Mama Johnson Field.  A two month process is expected to see the new field reopen by July 4th.

Three resolutions were reviewed and introduced by Chairwoman Jean Rodriguez as live items in addition to the HHA’s regular business.  Two of the three: pay-to-play and a new online transparent wait list went to a vote while a third on political activities in the HHA introduced was withdrawn for further review. Tim Occhipinti for resale?

Is Tim Occhipinti going on sale tonight?  The word is Occhipinti will be attending tonight’s 7th annual Bachelor/Bachelorette auction at Texas Arizona.

Occhipinti known for his density surely can’t be that dense to think he’s going on the auction block for anything approaching the $30,000 he got from Counte$$ right?

Maybe there is another older woman of means who would cough up the gelt to have Tim dressed up in stilettos and crawl around on all fours licking cat food off the floor. Read More...

Horse Sense: Whatever happened to the Mrs?

Just days after the arrest last November of Patrick Ricciardi by the FBI, his estranged wife appeared on several websites speaking to the “real” Patrick others didn’t know.

As it’s been quiet on the public front, Mrs. Ricciardi’s public pronouncements were said to be so unsettling it almost brought more than one head to explosion.

In one Hoboken Now story, her comments led to a number of commenters responding that she should be ignored, declared crazy or worse.  MSV reached out to her publicly on the thread and anonymous screen names urged us not to speak or listen to her.  It was all startling in its rapidity.  More odd was the scrubbing of every single one of her comments from the story along with the others attacking her and insisting she be quiet.  (Censorship Hat tip: Editor Augie Torres.) It has come to my attention there is great wonderment and gnashing of teeth among most of you on my recent absence from Hobroken Country.  Your constant wailing and lamentations have been heard by my various political consultants, operatives, and others on my payroll.  Please have no fear and know none of you are ever far from my thoughts or outside of my control.
