Spain has defeated Germany in the semi-finals of the World Cup.  The nation, current European Champions will face the Netherlands in a classic matchup of two mighty soccer giants on Sunday.

The Netherlands defeated Uruguay yesterday 3-2 setting up the European giants this weekend.

This is Spain’s first appearance in the World Cup Finals.  The Netherlands was a finalist in 1974 and 1978, losing both to Germany and Argentina respectively.
