Report: Beth Mason seeks to buy Hoboken Democratic Chair by paying for Old Guard ward races in November

In a rare admission of a breaking MSV story last week, the Hudson Reporter’s “Between the Lines” column confirmed Beth Mason is prepared to buy the Hoboken Democratic Chair position currently occupied by fourth ward resident Jamie Cryan.

The purchase would be made as part of a deal with the Russo family which is set to hold sway over the Hoboken Democratic Committee after this June’s committee elections.

Their price: financial underwriting in Hoboken’s November elections for First Ward Councilwoman Terry Castellano, Third Ward Councilman Michael Russo and possibly former Hoboken Housing Authority Executive Director Carmelo Garcia in the sixth ward against Councilwoman Jen Giattino. Read More...

Councilman Bhalla: ‘Join us at the festival Sunday’

Banner Logo

From the desk of Hoboken City Council President Ravi Bhalla:

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As you may know, this Sunday is the Hoboken Arts and Music Festival. This year I will be setting up a table, and would like to invite you to stop by during the festivities!
During the fair, we will be registering new voters (or you can register to change your address if you have moved within Hoboken), distributing information about various new and exciting city initiatives, and holding “office hours”, of sorts, for residents to discuss any issues with me and several of my council colleagues who will join us at the table during the day. If you or your friends/neighbors recently moved to Hoboken or just have never registered to vote, Sunday is the easiest way to ensure you can vote in future elections and make your voice heard.
You may also have questions about city issues or service requests. We will be there on Sunday to get you answers and provide you with assistance.
What are the plans for Washington Street and when will it be repaved? How about Observer Highway?
Will my property taxes go up or down this year and why?
What is the Rebuild By Design Resist, Store, Delay and Discharge project, and why is it so important to Hoboken’s future?
When are we finally building a park in the Southwest and what will it look like? Are there any other major park initiatives in the works?
What is the new composting program – is it mandatory and how do I sign up?
How are we handling development as new neighborhoods develop and thrive? What is being done to reduce flooding, both short and long term?
Come by our table this Sunday to discuss these issues and more. Your input is valuable and I want to hear from you! The weather should be great on Sunday, so we hope to see you there!
I will post the location of our table on my Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/ravibhallahoboken or on Twitter @RaviBhalla once we receive that information.

Hope to see you on Sunday!

Sincerely,

Ravi Bhalla
City Council President

MILE SQUARE VIEW EXCLUSIVE

The national debate on influence peddling at the hightest levels of government may reach its zenith with the hundreds of millions of dollars coming to light to the Clinton Foundation, mostly from foreign governments but in Hoboken the question arrives on the local front.

Lane Bajardi teams up with Hoboken411’s Perry Klaussen surrendering private information

Yesterday, Grafix Avenger detailed Lane Bajardi’s admission against interest – he admits to knowing various identities of screen names sued in the Bajardi v Pincus civil lawsuit.

Is that a problem?

Lane Bajardi and Kimberly Cardinal Bajardi filed a civil complaint with the court attesting to the screen names listed in paragraph 130 of their litigation being both of the named defendants: MSV and Grafix Avenger (and/or others) but they were targeted for their political speech, not because of anything they wrote was defamatory on local websites. Coming to bat in the fourth ward

Hoboken’s fourth ward is always highly anticipated when in play as part of the Mile Square’s most disparate population during election season. It hosts the most youthful energy of “up and comers,” younger residents who gravitate to the lively potpourri of downtown and First Street.

Simultaneously, they are neighbors to the large campus of the Hoboken Housing Authority in the southwest and where Hoboken political worlds most collide.

It’s two worlds diametrically at odds for reasons of economic disparity, culture, political awareness and sometimes birther cred. If Hoboken were an island nation, this would of course offer prevailing rights of citizenship. In Hoboken, this concept applies in a parallel universe within these United States if you are so fortunate to have entrance to the back door where Old Guard favors are doled out to those select few deemed worthy. Beth Mason planted rumor: ‘I’ll buy political gig from Hillary Clinton’

To the surprise of no Mile Square political observers, the breaking story Beth Mason’s political career is kaput come Hoboken’s November ward elections followed with a hapless “rumor” planted in the pro Old Guard Hudson Reporter.

Old Guard sources echoed the story “Beth Mason crashes and burns as the Old Guard eats it own,” deciding in a recent closed door meeting they’ll be getting behind BoE trustee Peter Biancamano for the second ward council seat come this November. Read More...

Democratic committee snapshot via the Lane Bajardi – Bench Slapped lens

The Democratic Committee in Hoboken is in the news, courtesy of a Horse and so MSV thought it would be fun Friday entertainment to take a look back at its recent history through the delusional time tunnel of the lunatic fringe Masonistas.

The entertainment comes way by Beth Mason’s political operatives and their rabid desire to control, spin, contort, manipulate and deceive the Hoboken voter at every possible turn.

For more on one typical political operation against the people of Hoboken featuring Old Guard council members playing themselves, see Grafix Avenger’s slamming story uncovering the extensive political operative efforts of Beth Mason’s “not paid for friendship” political operative.
