If you call it a homecoming, no one would say you were wrong but it had the feel of a celebration and one could dare say it: unity.
For Hoboken, that’s a marvelous word to utter because it had all the atmosphere of both even if temporary before the next major City Hall election – for mayor in 2017.
Officially, this was a fundraiser for Hoboken’s new Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro. Chief among the political dignitaries, NJ Assembly Speaker Vinnie Prieto who was the unofficial master of ceremonies and brought a barrage of support trailing the event with him.
