OLG hangs in for the OG’s Pupie
If you think Frank “Pupie” Raia is being given the cold shoulder across Hoboken, take a look at this reader-submitted photo on Sunday.
Apparently, Our Lady of Grace Church didn’t get the memo that the walls are crashing in on Pupie.
The church is led by controversial OG (Old Guard) reliable Father Santora who is known for his anti-Zimmer crusades over the years and his chronic itch to let the local hospital be sunk under her mayoralty. In other words, he’s a polar opposite to the priest played by Karl Malden in the Hoboken classic 1954 movie “On the Waterfront.”
As of Friday, the US Department of Justice in Newark confirmed Raia remains schedouled for trial later this month on June 11th.
Sunday afternoon at Church Square Park, a little mini-festival featuring “Frank Raia’s Games of Chance.”
You can’t buy this kind of irony anywhere outside of Hoboken.

You might as well put up a sign that reads, “The OG lives here.”
