NJ Email and Fax option: apply by 5:00 PM today
The cascade of applications for a ballot via email and fax has caused the State to issue an extension.
From a NJ colleague:
I’ve confirmed this. The NJ Dept of State has extended the deadline to submit ballots by fax or email until FRIDAY, 11/9 at 8pm.
But applications still need to be submitted by TODAY at 5pm.
County clerks offices will process applications until noon on Friday.

Okay, you’ve been through a lot and you need to figure out how this vote by email and fax thing works.
It’s not too complicated but the first step is the most important.

2) Print it out and sign with original signature
3) Return your application for a ballot to email or fax by 5:00 today on Election Day!
You need to contact the Hudson County Board of Elections and request a ballot be sent to you via email by 5:00 PM TODAY!
===============
It must be an original signature, not a scanned version. Note you’ve been displaced when you do return your ballot.
