Jen Giattino 6th ward kickoff video
Here’s a short exclusive video courtesy of John Heinis of the Hudson County View at the Jen Giattino kickoff.
In the video, Giattino discusses her commitment to serving Hoboken residents and in an introduction, a friend notes how even with her home seeing great harm as so many others in Hurricane Sandy, Jen Giattino was out working to help others harmed in the disaster.
Talking Ed Note: MSV personally witnessed Councilwoman Jen Giattino’s efforts throughout the emergency period following the hurricane. While she had to leave her home for required repairs with her family, Giattino continued working to help neighbors and residents in the sixth ward and beyond.
This was clearly a very emotional moment when it came up for Giattino, who downplays the personal hardship she and her family faced.
That she’s been a superb public servant for Hoboken is self-evident in her four year track record on the council keeping taxes and spending down while working to maximize efficiencies and supporting ethical and transparent government. Her personal outreach to help others is a story most are not aware and makes overwhemingly this public servant deserving to continue in her service as councilwoman to the City of Hoboken.
