This is no doubt going to be the question of the week, of the month, of the summer for a lot of folks if the rumor that’s reached MSV proves true.  Not gristable with two independent sources, we’ll have to chalk it up for now as rumor but it did come from different places.

The latest criminal melodrama in this town will be escalating.  Whether it leads to more summer time hijinks brought to you courtesy of the Boys of Summer in Newark (and/or Paula Dow’s AG Office) or not is of course entirely dependent on them and their professional timetable.

One of the people we enjoyed most reading about recently in “The Jersey Sting,” was US Federal Attorney and Hoboken’s own Ralph Marra.  Too often in Hoboken we hear the refrain, everyone does it.  Not true and Ralph Marra was proof of people in Hoboken who not only don’t accept the culture of corruption; he was a prime example of someone who stood up to it as a US Federal Attorney.

Here’s some great quotes by Ralph Marra back in 2009 from reporter and now “Jersey Sting” co-author Josh Margolin:

Talking Ed Note:  Okay how about another FBI video from the last City Council meeting Horsey?  Well you asked for it, you got it.  Here’s Episode IV from the Empire Strikes Back: How the Old Guard tried to take on the FBI in City Council Chambers.  With Beth Mason leading the way in an attempt to sully the ongoing FBI criminal investigation and obtain some nuggets for the lawyers falling flat on its face last night, it’s worth a visit.
