Sign of the Times: Ken Ferrante sworn-in as 10th Hoboken Police Chief

With a filled to capacity standing room only crowd of over 200 in attendance and his family looking on, Ken Ferrante was sworn-in as the City of Hoboken’s 10th Police Chief at the Stevens Institute’s Howe building. reported on the new police chief’s focus on communications, an aspect Ferrante highlighted himself when he spoke of those plans at the early November City Council meeting earning a standing ovation from the audience and even a rarer one from the council members.

Ferrante takes on the the head policing role with interest in community policing highlighted and plans to implement plans improving communications and a number of related measures both within the department and with residents at large.
