Downfall of a wannabe shark

It’s been said but more true today, “Downfall of a wannabe shark” the political satire originally written through the July 4th holiday in 2010 is aging better than fine wine. It doesn’t capture fully their utterly narcissistic pathological lying woven so deeply with their delusions for power. In retrospect, call it a start.

Truth is far stranger than fiction satire.

Writing this gem was more enjoyable than reading tens of thousands of emails during the last July 4th holiday but not by much.  More on that later. Bet. Read More...

Rutgers Dr. of Law: Lane Bajardi and Kim Cardinal Bajardi defamation claims were not “clearly false”

The smoke has not cleared from the thunderous explosion Tuesday morning with Judge Patrick Arre’s decisive legal opinion detonating a two and half year lawsuit against political speech in Hoboken.

A Rutgers law professor weighed in on Judge Patrick Arre’s legal decision on PolitickerNJ which continues to offer the most comprehensive coverage on the Hoboken blogger case and how both the First Amendment and NJ State Constitution apply.

In an article yesterday, Frank Askin, a Distinguished Professor of Law at the Rutger School of Law-Newark and director of the school’s constitutional rights clinic stated in no uncertain terms, defamation law in New Jersey is very clear and in the case of Lane Bajardi and Kim Cardinal Bajardi, the merits of their case entirely failed for clear legal reasons. Judge Arre on throwing out Lane Bajardi and Kim Cardinal Bajardi’s defamation lawsuit: “No Evidence…”

Yesterday in Hudson County Superior Court, Judge Patrick Arre weighed in decisively throwing out all remaining defamation claims by Hoboken resident Lane Bajardi.

One legal observer of the proceedings described the judge’s findings of fact and legal opinion “a bench slap.”

The defamation lawsuit was originally filed on July 26, 2012 but Councilwoman Beth Mason announced it earlier in reply to Roman Brice who requested she make available the public records of her Mason Civic League (Association) at the July 11th Hoboken City Council meeting. Read More...

=&0=& =&1=&

In Hudson County Superior Court today, a ruling on all defamation claims of plaintiff and 1010 WINS newsreader Lane Bajardi ended unceremoniously when his entire case was thrown out of court.

The decision by Judge Patrick Arre means that a jury panel who heard five days of testimony in the plaintiff’s case had no legal question to consider in the the two year plus litigation.

Plaintiff counsel Jonathan Z. Cohen strenuously argued Monday the Court should allow a jury to consider nominal damages against defendants at trial. The court earlier ruled Lane Bajardi had no evidence or proof of any damages and emphasized today the complete lack of proofs in its verbally issued legal opinion. Read More...

… a white horse

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and He had a Name written, that no man knew, but He himself.

13 And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
