Buying and selling votes and the Art of the Double Cross in the fourth ward council race

=&0=& =&1=& =&1=&

The Hoboken November election has come and gone but the bills in the fourth ward have not been paid.

An illicit war over votes was waged between two fourth ward Old Guard camps according to sources in downtown Hoboken with many attempted vote sellers left less than satisfied with the transaction.

Many of those people who agreed to sell their votes accepting checks for the alleged illicit deal discovered later the bounce was higher than off a NBA tomahawk dunk.

There was more than a little game of double cross going on between the two sides. Read More...

Voter fraud gone wrong and the final countdown

Tonight is a rare Monday evening meeting of the Hoboken City Council and with it, a countdown of sorts is underway.

After tonight, there are the December council meetings left culminating with the exit of three council members: Tim Occhipinti, Beth Mason and Terry Castellano.

It’s the end of an Old Guard era signified by a longstanding war against the mayor and her reform agenda and outright sabotage when the stakes were nothing short of the closure of the hospital and possible bankruptcy for the City itself back in 2011. Read More...

Lane Bajardi’s lament: ‘All I got is a sullied reputation’

=&0=& =&1=&

With the recent Hudson Reporter email chatter about “the blogs” and the whimsical wish of conspiracy losers everywhere they are directed by City Hall forces, the Carmelo Garcia “ethnic cleansing” email variety coupled to inspire another peek into the Bajardi v Pincus email vault.

So is born our =&2=& Here’s Lane Bajardi complaining to the former 2009 Beth Mason campaign treasurer Ines Garcia Keim that his ubermensch support for Beth Mason in her doomed quest for mayor has earned him nothing but a =&3=& Ines Garcia Keim is also the current treasurer of the dirt bag Political Action Committee (PAC) “Real Democrats for Hoboken” which unleashed a torrent of nasty fabricated mailers against sixth ward Councilwoman Jen Giattino in a desperate bid to see installed Carmelo “The Wire” Garcia on the Hoboken City Council. Three years later after the 2009 mayoral election, Lane Bajardi, the frothing Hoboken411 ghostwriter would take a dozen Hoboken residents to court claiming they owed him $2,000,000 apiece for – you guessed it – defaming his reputation. As many know, the case ended in Hudson Superior Court concluding the litigation not only showed no evidence of Bajardi’s reputation harmed but that the years long litigation was a frivolous SLAPP-suit.

In other words, Lane Bajardi is a sham.

This endearing email did not make it into the Bench Slapped Series or presentation to Hudson Superior Court. It wasn’t needed.
Next time, if there’s a next time, it will.

Horse Sense: The rapid demise of the Hudson Reporter aka The Distorter

=&0=&

It’s one thing to cover up newsworthy government reports when it comes to your political allies tied to development interests, quite another to go on a public tantrum after a series of serious exposures comes to light on your unsavory “journalistic” practices.

It produces a fishy smell combined with the odor wafting out of a fourth ward sewer; the latest in a Masonic ethic “ethnic cleansing” coupling with Mister Carmelo.

The Hudson Distorter has been spinning out of control in a nosedive straight into the bowels of Hoboken’s sewer system, its likely final destination. Read More...

Carmelo Garcia and the oversight problem

In February of 2013, Carmelo Garcia demonstrated why no oversight by the Hoboken Housing Authority Board would be possible if he had anything to do with it.

His ability to obstruct a governing board empowered with overseeing his performance in the Hoboken Housing Authority evident, the last public budget in Hoboken of over $15 million, home to thousands of residents saw no real oversight or reform at all.

The existing HHA board would not only fail to pass or implement any meaningful oversight, it could not even obtain a copy of Carmelo Garcia’s existing contract for examination; a contract it was charged with overseeing and previously approved. Read More...

Horse Sense: Blaming the victim – The HHA Way

=&0=&=&1=&

A feature story in the Jersey Journal detailing a partial list of crimes against Jessica Coco, a disabled woman living in the Hoboken Housing Authority drew greater attention on the problems she faces in coming out as part of a group of HHA residents against a real estate deal called Vision 20/20.

That redevelopment plan, originally earmarked to more than double the size of the Hoboken Housing Authority downtown campus was altered in word to hoodwink the Hoboken public it was being changed to a replacement program of 806 units. Read More...

Email threat: “hope that your home doesn’t get vandalized like Ms. Coco’s did”

When Vision 20/20, the massive redevelopment scam proposed and relentlessly pushed by Carmelo Garcia backfired at City Hall and before the City Council in 2013, one voice who dared to announce skepticism on its intent became a target of criminal actions. Faced with repeated acts of vandalism, numerous break-ins to her home, asked to sign her own eviction notice in the Hoboken Housing Authority and facing a death threat, she never recanted her skepticism that Carmelo Garcia’s Vision 20/20 was bad for for HHA residents and equally worse for Hoboken. Of course, there was never any actual plan for approval put before the HHA board of commissioners, or for that matter, the Hoboken City Council. It didn’t stop the Old Guard council from enthusiastically supporting it.  There’s only one hero to this story, although many people stood tall against the Vision 20/20 scam, among them Mayor Dawn Zimmer and City Council members Peter Cunningham, Jen Giattino, Ravi Bhalla, Dave Mello and former HHA chair Jake Stuiver. They flat out refused to submit to intimidation to approve more than doubling the size of the downtown Hoboken Housing Authority with nothing more than a hollow Vision 20/20 color brochure. Following that, many were sued for “ethnic cleansing” by one Carmelo Garcia. Many still are. The hero in this story stood tall through the attacks in all its shapes and forms including a death threat, ignored and laughed at by law enforcement, called crazy for refusing to go along. That’s not allowed by the Old Guard Hoboken Syndicate, especially on their “turf” in the Hoboken Housing Authority. Of course, we’re talking about HHA resident Jessica Coco.
Profile pic from Jessica Coco’s Facebook page.
It like all her internet accounts were hijacked after
numerous break-ins and vandalism against her.
When it came to light, Carmelo Garcia declared it all
“unfounded and preposterous.” It stopped soon after
his contract was terminated in the HHA.
The following is an actual, unedited email never published on a direct threat from a downtown hood rat who successfully hijacked the internet account of Jessica Coco after numerous break-ins into her home.  Realizing the previous break-ins at Jessica Coco’s apartment must have directly led to this internet hijack, Da Horsey submitted the following inquiry: Which follows with this cryptic but knowing suggestion advising:
Well what’s a curious Horse to do but inquire again asking which Hoboken politician(s) “to avoid?” No further communications arrived to MSV. Later that same evening, a death threat would be issued to Jessica Coco via her own hijacked internet account.
The alleged culprit of these emails would quickly decide to use the brief bonanza of access to emails in Jessica Coco’s accounts and forward some between her and MSV to the Hudson Reporter.

Now why would they do that? =&3=&
