Old Guard looks to others to support rubber stamp Tim Occhipinti
It’s the holiday season and what better way to show your love for vote by mail ballots when there isn’t an election anywhere in sight than to give your hard earned cash to Tim Occhipinti so he can get a head start on buying oodles of them at $40 a pop in the Housing Authority.
Looks like the Old Guard doesn’t want to carry Occhipinti so they would like you to do so.

Guess there’s been an Old Guard budget review and between Frank Raia, Beth Mason and Mike Novak, it’s time to tighten the belt and look to people who love absentee ballot fraud, petulant council hysterics and childish behavior coupled with the worst self-awareness on a body where MORTe provides plenty.
|Same Old Guard puppet masters, but they want Hobokenites to foot the bill for their
rubber stamp Tim Occhipinti who is an enemy of Hoboken taxpayers and cozy with
mass transit including NJ Transit and Academy Bus.
Talking Ed Note: More Grist notes – a week back Mike Novak who has been a maximum individual contributor to Tim Occhipinti was at the Elysian Cafe with former Public Safety Director Angel Alicia, Freeholder Anthony “Stick” Romano and Assemblyman Ruben Ramos. Based on the hugging it out going on, the word is Novak is on his way out of town due to family reasons MSV won’t publish here to protect the innocent.
It’s a safe bet many among Reform will not be saddened to see him go but you may want to include the Hoboken Chamber of Commerce. The organization became highly politicized and negative under Novak early in 2011 only to see next to no activity in the second half including some shop Hoboken events.
In short Novak did nothing to help Hoboken businesses much like his past associations being on other local boards around town or so it’s said by those who worked with him.
