Hoboken awoke to the incessant rain and word from Mayor Dawn Zimmer is 8,800 residents WILL SOON LOSE POWER.

The mayor suggests people fill bathtubs, sinks, and pots with water.  PSE&G will have its hands full trying to make all the needed repairs to go back on line.  It could be days.

Last the mayor says – charge mobile phones!

400,000 without power now in State of NJ according to Gov. Christie.  The storm surge has begun and has breached lower Manhattan heading into Wall Street area.

Eye of the storm is hours off from passing.
