Grist for the Mill: Lt. Gov will swear in Giattino and Cunningham ONLY!

MILE SQUARE VIEW EXCLUSIVE

MSV can now reveal Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno will be conducting a swearing in – but not for all council members as stated elsewhere in earlier reports. The Lt. Gov. will be swearing in newly elected 6th ward Councilwoman-elect Jen Giattino and 5th ward Councilman Peter Cunningham.

With a wide scale criminal investigation going on in town by the FBI, there will be some gasps when this comes to light. The decision on this though our sources came far sooner than when the FBI visiting Hoboken in May became known.

On background, no reason is even being offered. City Clerk Jimmy Farina will likely be the fallback position for Beth Mason, Mike Russo, Terry Castellano and Tim Occhipinti.

Update: POST CEREMONY: Anyway who suggests the choice of to swear in Council members Cunningham and Giattino was made by anyone other than the Lt. Gov. Is incorrect.

MSV can now say this information came to us earlier weeks back. So there was no council knowledge, thus it was never any of their decision.

Talking Ed Note: Isn’t that interesting?
